Navigate to Dispatch Templates and click “Create New” to start.

Enter the “Accessorial Name,” choose between charge or deduction, specify the amount, and select how it should appear on invoices (total or new line).

Choose an income chart account. If automatic payment to the driver is desired, check “Pay Driver” to reveal additional fields for fee type (flat, per mile, percentage, etc.), pay driver amount, and expense chart account.

Optionally, add an accessorial note.

Accessorial templates automate calculation and driver pay under the load when applied.

For customer-specific applications, apply under the customer contract within the pricing tab of a load. This ensures transparency on agreed terms for additional charges like line hauls, extra stops, detentions, etc.

To save time entering commodity details for each load, create commodity templates.

This can be done directly from the Dispatch Templates page or within a load. When adding a commodity to a load, use the “Save and Add Template” option to save the commodity details for future use.

Event templates are designed for overarching load events, differing from post updates that apply to individual stops.

Useful for alerts and notifications like Accidents, Road Closures, Delays, Health Emergencies, or Vehicle Maintenance.

When creating an event template, you have the option to share automatically with customers via a “Customer Share Link.”

Create these templates by visiting the Dispatch Templates page.
